Year 9 student Darcy Caheny is pictured in action at the Ambition U-14 Championships in Hinterreit, Austria, earlier this month.
Her performance at the event means qualification for the British Championships which take place in Tignes France this April. If she does well in that event she could land a place on Team GB.
Busy Darcy's also taking part in both the Welsh and English Champions over the next four weeks, so fingers crossed she does well in those events.
Mum Larissa said: "Darcy's technical ability has improved dramatically and we're so proud of her. She skis every week at Bowles and Chatham dry slopes - and regularly for Precise Race team in Kent and Europe. Darcy loves skiing and we are so pleased that she is following her dreams."
