Last week 26 of our year 13 students travelled to Braithwaite in the Lake District to complete their expedition of their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. The students handled sun, wind and rain within their stride, as well as extremely steep terrain. We look forward to the completion of their projects and hope to see many more students reach this stage of such an incredible pathway. Thank you to our students for demonstrating incredible resilience, empathy and determination throughout this week. They were a real credit to the school community and as the external provider said a real pleasure to be with for the week.
Congratulations on passing your Gold DofE assessed expedition. Finally thank you to Miss Warr, Miss Morriss and Niall for leading this trip, without your support we would not have been able to offer this brilliant opportunity for the students.
