Congratulations to the athletes who represented Weald at the Regional 'A' Final of the ESAA Schools Cup, which was held at Medway Park, Gillingham on Wednesday 17th June.

The Junior Girls team finished in a very respectable 7th place with 315 points behind some of the nation's top performing schools.  Croydon High School took the overall win with 478 points, with Guildford High School 2nd and St Catherines School in 3rd. Our top points scorers came from the middle-distance trio Cora earning a huge 26 points running 2.34 and Aria recording a personal best time of 2.41 coming away with 24 points in the 800m. Rosie gained 23 points in the 1500m, posting a new lifetime best of 5.40. A huge congratulations to Georgie who set a very impressive personal best in the shot recording a huge throw of 7.87m for 20 points. Florence led the way for the sprints team with an impressive 29.2 points for the 200m. The relay team came home in second place with a fantastic display of teamwork from Martha, Jasmine, Georgie, and Elysia.

Congratulation to the whole Junior team who showed dedication, excellent sportsmanship, positive attitudes and served as excellent ambassadors for the school.  Well done!
