Weald of Kent Grammar School welcomes applications from students in any year group, although we strongly recommend against moving school in an examination year. Applications should be made directly to Weald of Kent via admissions@wealdgs.org.
Students wishing to apply for a place will be required to sit a CAT4 test (quantitative, non-verbal and verbal reasoning). In line with our admissions policy, applicants must achieve results that are consistent with the standards of the current cohort in order to be considered for a place. If your child meets this requirement, we will write to make an offer, provided there is a place available in the year group. If a place is not available, they will be added to the waitlist.
Parents and carers have the right to appeal should a place not be offered. Please contact the school’s Admissions Manager for more information.

- Completed an In-Year Application Form (IYAF), which can be found below – Applications will close one week before the test date; applications received after this date will be added to a later test date.
- Send the completed form to our Admissions Manager.
